Kat Life Films was started in 2004, at a time when LGBT characters were either missing from film and TV screens, or portrayed as killers, whores, victims - and sometimes all three! 

Its founder and managing director, Kat Holmes, is passionate about bring quality indie LGBT content to those who desperately need their lived experience represented and validated, in a world that still exhibits hostility towards our community.

Diversity and inclusion are key to the ethos of Kat Life Films and we are continually challenging ourselves to include under-represented ethnicities, gender identities, and bodies into every stage of the creative process.
